UKTI & British Airways partnership
UK Trade & Investment is pleased to announce that the flight offer from British Airways last year resulted in nearly 3,000 UK SME companies being offered complimentary Business Class seats to overseas markets.
Many of these companies have already visited overseas markets, with some of their success stories published on our website at www.uktradeinvest.gov.uk
This year, again in partnership with UK Trade & Investment, British Airways is extending their support to help UK SME companies to visit overseas markets to develop international business.
The new offer will be available to companies based in England which are working with UKTI as either a Passport to Export or a Gateway to Global Growth client. Companies in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland which apply through this website will be contacted by their relevant trade organisation. UKTI also intend to make this offer available to support some companies going overseas on trade missions or to attend overseas exhibitions.
The new offer for UK SMEs will consist of a single use discount voucher which will provide a discount of 15% off the total cost of the flight i.e. the cost of the fare plus fees, taxes and charges, in ALL cabins and classes on British Airways flights from the UK. The applicant must be or must become a
member of On Business BA’s SME loyalty programme and the BA Executive Club in order to apply. The offer allows the named passenger to book up to a total of nine business colleagues (including themselves) on the same journey. This is an on-line offer and the full terms and conditions of the offer are available on this site and can also be discussed with your regional international trade advisor in England or the relevant trade organisation in the devolved territories.
Once a successful application has been made, the on-line discount voucher will be issued by British Airways within six weeks directly to the applicant.
This offer is not available to companies which have benefited from one of last year’s complimentary flights.

The form will then be sent to one of UKTI Regional Trade teams who will contact you to further progress your application.

Tradeshow Access Programme
UKTI clients can apply for a BA flight offer in conjunction with an application for Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) support. If you are interested in this combined offer please phone 020 7215 8000 or e-mail enquiries@ukti.gsi.gov.uk.
You will then be put in touch with your nearest UKTI International Trade Office where an International Trade Adviser can talk you through all the help available from UKTI and can help process you application. However, please note that this is a limited offer and is available for eligible applicants on a first come first served basis.

Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions relate to the entire booking process, some references are made to features on the British Airways website only.
1. This discount promotion is only open to Eligible Participants. An Eligible Participant is an On Business member located and currently trading in the United Kingdom, which has been selected by UK Trade & Investment to take part in this promotion, and a selected British Airways (“BA”)ExecutiveClub member. OnBusiness members selected for this promotion will be informed by email. The promoter reserves the right to
verify the eligibility of Eligible Participants. Eligible Participants confirm
that they accept the terms and conditions set out below.
2. In order to take part in this promotion, Eligible Participants must register for On Business and the Executive Club, or if already an existing member of On Business or the Executive Club, the Eligible Participant must register for this promotion with UK Trade & Investment.
3. In order to take part in this promotion, Eligible Participants must first click on the ‘book now’ button on this email and log in to their Executive Club account and make a booking. Your discount will then automatically
be shown on the price quote page of the booking process. If you do not click on the “book now” button at the top of this email, you must instead log in to your Executive Club account on ba.com and then enter the unique promotional code detailed in this email in the marked box on the “price quote” page of the booking process for the discount to be applied.
4. The promotion code entitles Eligible Participants to a 15% per person discount on any BA mainline flight, in any cabin. To receive the discount there is a minimum spend of £300. This voucher is for use for business purposes only and cannot be used for children or infants.
5. Only one booking per voucher can be made and promotional travel must start and finish by the date specified on the voucher.
6. The promotional code is only valid for bookings of up to 9 passengers.
7. The voucher is valid for the following journey types and must start in the UK; AB - e.g. London-New York, ABA – e.g. London - New York – London, ABC – e.g. Glasgow – London – New York, ABCA – e.g. London – New York – Boston – London. Single open jaw within the same region is allowed. Regions are defined as (1) USA, Canada, LACAR (2) Europe (3) Africa (4) Middle East (5) Asia (6) Tokyo.
8. The voucher is valid from all UK airports from which BA operates.

10. Discounts are available on flights only, and are not valid for discounts on hotels, car rental or experiences. The promotion code cannot be activated on bookings containing any of these elements.
11. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. Outbound and return flights must be booked at the same time. Promotional travel must be purchased, ticketed and started in the UK. Please note that many credit card issuers will not permit payment for air travel from the UK to be paid for on credit cards that they have issued if the billing address is outside the UK. BA does not accept responsibility for the refusal of any card issuer to allow use of its cards for payment.
12. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, or deal, including but not limited to: (i) redemption bookings; (ii) travel agent or industry discount fares (including but not limited to agency, industry and employee discounts), inclusive holidays, group discount fares, child/infant fares or senior citizen fares, whether or not booked in the qualifying classes; (iii) bookings made with vouchers (e.g. shareholder’s discount vouchers); or (iv) upgrades. For the avoidance of doubt, this offer cannot be used in conjunction with BA staff friends and family offers, for example Hotlines.
13. Bookings must be made online at www.ba.com or by calling 0844 493 0787 and quoting a valid Executive Club number. Telephone bookings are subject to a £5 per person booking fee. This promotion does not apply to bookings made through other channels, for example at the airport.
14. All flights are subject to availability and capacity control. The number of seats available on each flight at a particular fare may be restricted and it is possible that seats allocated to a particular fare on a particular flight may be fully booked even though seats are still available for sale at a different fare or booking class in the same cabin.
15. No cash or credit alternative is available.
16. Discounts cannot be used retrospectively. This promotion applies to new bookings only.
17. All bookings made under this promotion will be covered by the fare rules and conditions of the original fare. This includes any applicable refund and change fees.
18 If a booking using the promotion code is cancelled prior to travel, the promotion code will expire and cannot be used again.
19. All travel on BA flights is subject to BA’s general conditions of carriage for passengers and baggage (see www.ba.com) and the notice and conditions of contract contained on each ticket or itinerary.
20. This promotion and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
21. Promotional materials form part of these terms and conditions. BA reserves the right to cancel or amend without notice the terms of this promotion and any tickets or vouchers issued free or at promotional prices in the event of major catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbances,
earthquake or any actual anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of BA.
