British Airways is offering small and medium enterprises the opportunity to travel with us, to one of our 160 destinations worldwide, in our Club Europe or Club World Business class cabins. We'll provide the flight, all you have to do is pay the relevant airport charges and government taxes.

The offer
We are pleased to offer up to 4,000 return flights in Club Europe and Club World from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and London City to the following businesses:

• SME's who are looking to export for the first time
• More experienced SME exporters establishing themselves in a new market or current market
• SME's attending an international trade show for the first time

We are also offering a limited number of seats for overseas investors to visit the UK.

For businesses outside of London we are pleased to offer complimentary UK regional flights from Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle to London Heathrow, London Gatwick and London City.

Applying for support
Our flights will be given in partnership with UKTI on a first come, first served basis.

If you are based in England and would like to be considered for a complimentary flight, you need to fill in the application form, which can be found by following the link below. The form will then be sent to one of UKTI Regional Trade teams who will contact you to further progress your application.

Trade Missions
UK Trade & Investment organise trade missions to different countries around the world. These missions give you the opportunity to meet potential overseas customers, buyers and partners in a supportive group format which provides the logistical and in country support from UKTI and other stakeholder organisations.

Tradeshow Access Programme
SMEs who have not used UKTI’s Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) in the past can apply for the BA flight offer in conjunction with an application for TAP support to help fund exhibiting costs at the overseas event. If you are interested in this combined offer please phone 020 7215 8000 or e-mail enquiries@ukti.gsi.gov.uk.

You will then be put in touch with your nearest UKTI International Trade Office where an International Trade Adviser can talk you through all the help available from UKTI and can help process you application. Most “new to TAP” SMEs looking to export are likely to be eligible but your ITA can confirm eligibility with you.  However, please note that this is a limited offer and is available for eligible applicants on a first come first served basis. Seats on some flights may not be available.

If you are successful in applying for assistance from BA, your local ITA will advise of details on how to make a booking. Successful applicants must register as member of On business and the British Airways Executive club (please note, sign-up for On business may take up to 4 working days to receive a membership number).

Terms and Conditions
(a) Qualifying Companies shall pay for any applicable taxes, fees, charges and surcharges that may be applicable to each Promotional Ticket.
(b) Qualifying Companies shall pay a booking fee to BA of £5 per Promotional Ticket.
(c) Promotional Tickets will be confirmed using I class availability and will then be changed to U booking class.
(d) Promotional Tickets will not earn BA Executive club tier points or BA Miles.
(e) Return travel must be completed no later than 3 months after departure from journey origin.                                                       
(f) Dates of travel of Promotional Tickets are changeable after booking where U class is available but routes cannot be changed.
(g) Overseas BA stations may charge a service fee for any ticket changes.
(h) Promotional Tickets will only be valid for round trip journeys.
(i) Promotional Tickets will allow single open jaw within the same country. Qualifying Companies must make their own arrangements for surface sector travel.
(j) Promotional Tickets cannot be upgraded.
(k) Child discounts are not applicable.
(l) Promotional Tickets are non refundable.
(m) If Promotional Tickets are cancelled, taxes, fees, charges and surcharges will be refunded to the form of payment, subject to the fare rules and any relevant deductions.
(n) Promotional Tickets will be issued as paperless e-tickets.
(o) Promotional Tickets are available for travel departing from or arriving into London Gatwick, London City and London Heathrow on British Airways mainline and Cityflyer services and does not include travel on franchisees or codeshare airlines.  Connecting flights from these airports to UK regional airports may be available at no cost other than taxes, fees, charges and surcharges where BA flies to the relevant regional airport.
(p) Promotional Tickets are available for carriage in Club World, Club Europe and Domestic cabins.
(q)  Promotional Tickets are subject to availability at time of booking and no guarantee can be given that there is availability to any specific destination on any specific date.
(r) Qualifying Companies must book Promotional Tickets by 31 March 2010.
(s) Promotional Tickets may only be booked for outbound travel that will be completed by 31 March 2010.
(t) BA’s conditions of carriage will apply to all Promotional Tickets.
(u) No more than 5 (five) Promotional Tickets will be made available for any one flight.
(v) Successful applicants must be registered with On business.
(w) Successful applicants must be registered with the British Airways Executive Club.
(x) BA reserves the right to offer additional ancillary services, at an additional cost,  such as travel insurance, accommodation and car hire etc. as part of the booking process
(y) BA will offer the SME the opportunity/option to offset the carbon emissions produced from their trip.
(z) Recipients of British Airways tickets through the UKTI scheme will be asked to consent to possible PR work by BA.
