Increased support to boost SME exports

Following the British Airways and UKTI partnership announcement on Tuesday, 28 April, more companies are getting behind the initiative to help UK SMEs grow their business abroad in these difficult times.

Travelex, DHL and Applied Language Solutions have all now added their support to UK exports by offering some great discounts to help SME's as they explore new opportunities. Other initiatives are being worked on at the moment and Avis Car Hire and Accor Hotels should soon be showing their support alongside BA and others.

Combined support now sees the package of free flights, courier services, translation expertise and support with international payments provide a lifeline to SMEs as they travel the globe to discover the global business opportunities.

UKTI help exporters to take flight with British Airways

British Airways has offered UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) 4,000 international return flights for its UK-based SME customers. The offer aims to help enterprising companies make essential trips to grow their business abroad in these difficult times.
